মোট বল = ৫+৩+২ = ১০টি,
সবুজ বল না হওয়ার অর্থ গোলাপী বা হলুদ বল হওয়া যাদের সংখ্যা = ৫+২ = ৭টি

সুতরাং ৩টি বল নিলো তা সবুজ না হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা হবে,
= $\frac{{}^{7}c_{3}}{{}^{10}c_{3}} = \frac{35}{120} = \frac{7}{24}$
