Narration of Exclamatory Sentence & Others

Rule 1(a): Exclamatory Sentence-কে Direct থেকে Indirect-এ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম: 

• Direct speech এর said পরিবর্তে Indirect speech এ নিম্নরূপ শব্দগুচ্ছ বসবে: আনন্দ/সুখ বুঝালে Reporting verb পরিবর্তিত হয়ে exclaimed with joy বসে।দুঃখ বুঝালে exclaimed with sorrow/grief/sadly বসে।কামনা বুঝালে strongly wished/desired বসে। বিস্ময় বুঝালে exclaimed with suprise বসে।
• Reported speech-এরপূর্বে linker 'that' বসে।
• Alas, Hurrah, Fie ইত্যাদিউঠে গিয়ে Reported speech টি Assertive form-এ রূপান্তরিত হয়।
• Reported speech যদি how/what দিয়ে Exclamatory হয় তাহলে indirect এ এদের পরিবর্তে noun এর পূর্বে great বসে। এবং adjective এরপূর্বে very/most বসে।

Rule 1 (b): বাক্যে Good morning/evening/afternoon, Good luck থাকলে Indirect এ say এর পরিবর্তে wish(ed) এবং good night, good bye, farewell থাকলে Indirect এ say এর পরিবর্তে bid/bade বসে। 
Indirect: bid bade + vocative case (সম্মোধনপদ) + good night/good bye/ farewell wish/wished + vocative case (সম্মোধনপদ)+good morning/ evening/afternoon,good luck 

N.B. vocative case (সম্মোধনপদ) পরে আসলে তার পূর্বে to বসে । 

Rule 1(c): Direct Narration de Reported speech a liar/fool/coward etc. অথবা you are a liar/a fool/a coward etc. থাকলে Indirect এ said এর পরিবর্তে called বসে।

Rule 1(d): Direct Narration এ Thank you/Thanks/ Congratulations!/Welcome থাকলে Indirect Narration এ said এর পরিবর্তে thanked/congratulated/welcomed বসে। 

Rule 1(e): Direct Narration-এ ব্যবহৃত Vocatives বা সম্ভোধন পদগুলো Indirect Narration-এ বাদ দেয়া যেতেহবে পারে। যেখানে Vocatives-কে বাদ দেয়াযায় না, কেবলমাত্র সেখানে Vocatives- Addressing as দ্বারাপ্রকাশ করা হয়।
